![]() They just feel nicer and more reliable over longer periods of play. But for consistency and outright faster repeated keypresses, I’m a new convert to the world of linear keys. I’ve used them in the past, and I’m sure I’ll use them again in the future. I know a lot of people - professionals included - use Cherry MX Blue or other clicky keyswitches for gaming. With a yellow, as soon as you’ve pressed past a third of its total travel you’ve hit that switch - rise back up past a third and you’re ready to go again. With a Green, you’ve essentially got to lift your finger off the key completely each time you want to - in my experience, at least, where I like to know that I’ve let that switch up after depressing it. The slightly lighter actuation force, higher actuation point, and identical actuation/reset points of the Yellow means that it’s just better for those moments when you want to double- or triple- or repeatedly tap a key. #Linear tactile or clicky windowsWhen you’re constantly tapping W, S, A or D to move around - I and plenty of old-school CS 1.6-era players that I know do this with the strafe keys more than anything else, popping and peeking windows and doorways and always staying moving to stay alive as long as possible and avoid becoming a bullet sponge. With that in mind, you do still need a good, fast, responsive keyboards for those moments where the shit hits the fan and you need to navigate around quickly and reliability.įor this kind of gaming, I’m of the opinion that once you’re used to it, a linear switch keyboard is undeniably better. It’s a FPS, and it’s a bit twitchy but not nearly as constantly fast-paced as something else like Overwatch or Quake Champions, both of which I also dabble in. I play a lot of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds at the moment - far more of it than anything else. My short review of the keyboard itself: it’s nice! It’s well built, it has the function keys I want, the (removable, magnetic) wrist rest is plush and comfortable, it has lots of pretty LED colours. Razer’s existing Green and Orange switches are functionally quite similar, and have an identical construction and internal layout, but for the fact that one clicks while the other doesn’t - they both have an identical travel distance and actuation point, although you’ll have to let up the Green a little more before you can double-tap it (a standard characteristic of ‘clicky’ switches) where the Orange switches off barely a tenth of a millimetre after it switches on.īecause of that, and because the difference is far more stark between the two, I’m comparing Razer’s Green switches with its Yellows all my comparisons are on the BlackWidow Chroma V2. The Yellow is only available in the newest BlackWidow Chroma V2, so I got hold of a pair of otherwise identical boards to examine the difference for myself. Razer actually has three mechanical keyswitches - the tactile clicky Green, the linear and silent Yellow, and the mid-ground compromise of the tactile and silent Orange. #Linear tactile or clicky PcIt’s the question that every PC nerd has asked themselves as they’ve been poring over online store listings: should I buy a mechanical keyboard with clicky tactile switches, or one with silent and linear keys? I compared two otherwise identical keyboards over a couple of weeks of gaming and typing to find my own personal favourite - and try to figure out why that was. ![]()

![]() So, the character Shoebill (or as this website calls her "Hashibirokou") is a minor character in the Kemono Friends anime showing up in episode 6 of the anime as part of Moose's "army" and at the end of the episode and beginning of episode 7 tells Serval and Kaban something very important. So on that lovely note let's talk about about everyone's absolute favorite Friend Shoebill. Do you like Kemono Friends? I sure do! I mean who doesn't like Kemono Friends? Raise your hand and your hand is coming off, by the way. (I'd actually want this to happen as I actually played the original game between Dec 2015 and Dec 2016 and it'd be nice to see my team again.Say kids. People have been commenting that the game no longer shows a "Notice of Closure" splash screen when the app is opened but rather a "Now Loading" screen meaning that there are connections to servers happening again. Even the game, that did so poorly initially, may have a revival as Nexon has said that they may look into restoring the servers. Zoos all over Japan have been reporting large jumps in attendance as people are flocking to them to see the actual animals from the anime. Demand was so great for it, that a second run of it also sold out in less than 15 minutes. Each and every single week the hashtag #けものフレンズ (#KemonoFriends) trended worldwide on twitter right before the episode aired, the very first Blu Ray box set sold out on Amazon in 15 minutes. Such a time slot is usually reserved for more mature Anime with things like violence, nudity, etc.ĭespite all this the anime's popularity exploded seemingly overnight. It was even stuck in a bad time slot - 1:30 AM. Animation was so scaled down that in the first episode wheels aren't animated, characters run around on a flat plane with no depth, the interviews with zookeepers that are used as the commercial breaks were done by telephone and you can hear the crap quality of the phone connection during those sections, and they hired an unknown voice actress to be one of the main characters. However with the game tanking and mediocre manga sales the budget for the anime was scaled way back to save costs.Ī total of ten people created the 12 episode series in 500 hours. SHOEBILL ANIME CUTE FREEThe game had been free to play since March but even then there wasn't enough support to keep it running and Nexon shut down the servers.īecause the anime had always been planned as part of the media project funding for it had already been allocated to it's production early on in development. The anime was announced on Octoexactly two months later on Decemthe smartphone game was shut down. The manga came out right at the beginning of the games lifespan and wasn't really successful or widely known about, having only spanned two volumes. Things like Owl, Racoon, and Skunk Friends liked Dark Stages as they are nocturnal and didn't do well in bright stages. Areas like the Desert Stage were hard to beat with Friends who were based off of things like Sea Mammals or Penguins because the temperature in those stages was considered "Hot" and those Friends like "Cold" areas. Stages all had certain geography and your team members had affinity based on what animals they were. New Friends could be acquired through a random "capsule machine" type drawing using tickets you could purchase using real money or trade in in-game currency for things like clothes or accessories that boosted stats. Each Friend had different skills and you could combine attacks with other members of your team in order to battle through enemy waves to reach the goal at the end of each stage. The game was a simple "wave defense" sidescroller where you had a group of 5-6 "Friends" who were animal girls based of of real life animals. The cell phone game was the first to come out and had a brief moment of popularity but the game was only around for about 2 years and near the end it's user base never actually got above 30,000 players. There was plans for a cell phone game, manga, and anime with various media tie-ins between. Originally Kemono Friends was a multi-media project focused around the concept of anthropomorphic animal girls. Kemono Friends was the sleeper hit of the Winter 2016/17 anime season. ![]() ![]() This PC software works fine with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10/11. We hope these are just teething problems caused by Alphabet’s acquisition of the brand, rather than long-term issues. In order to sync uninstall fitbit connect update#Even though we can’t wait to see Fitbit’s new devices in September, between issues with the Charge 5, the headline-grabbing Ionic recall, its terrible graph update that convinced its users they had sleep apnea, and now this, the wearables manufacturer certainly appears to be having some technical issues at the moment. It's likely with new devices on the horizon, it's hustling to adopt a new status quo.Įven so, it's going to annoy some long-term users at a time when Fitbit just can’t seem to get out of its own way. I don't know how large of a section of the Fitbit userbase downloads their own songs onto their watch, but I suspect not a very big one. Fitbit Connect on a Mac also uses Bluetooth for syncing (if available), otherwise youll need to. In order to sync uninstall fitbit connect software#Fitbit will not delete your existing library of songs, but it will disable Fitbit Connect on this date, the software application that allows you to connect your device to the computer.įitbit's obviously got its reasons for doing this, and it must have gleaned from the data its devices collects that more people use streaming services on its devices than listen to music natively. Completely uninstall the Fitbit App from your device. If you’re a Fitbit owner with an older device, who enjoys listening to your music library on the device, you’ve got two months to stuff that thing with as many songs as it’ll hold before the cutoff point on October 13. Try turning your iPhone off and on again. This will temporarily stop the Bluetooth connection, which will force it to reconnect and could help the problem. Turn off Bluetooth, then on again, and then open the Fitbit app. Every time you open the app, it should initiate a sync. ![]() Anyone who’s been following Fitbit closely over the last few years knows it’s been acquired by Google, and there’s a slate of new devices (thought to be the Fitbit Sense 2, Inspire 3, and Fitbit Versa 4) on track for release very soon.Įven though they’re very unlikely to be true Wear OS watches, they could at least have offline Spotify and YouTube Music enabled, covering a wide range of streaming services so you can at least get your music somewhere. Close the Fitbit app and then open it again. However, I believe Fitbit’s going to be working on this very soon. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Particleshop alternative pro#COREL PARTICLESHOPĬorel offers a wide range of software programs, including its affordable and capable PaintShop Pro photo editor, but the release of the ParticleShop plug-in is an eye-catching addition. There’s even a special mode designed specifically for children, in addition to female and male modes. The software is smart, too, detecting features to assist with more accurate retouching. More importantly, there are tools and presets to retouch skin, hair, eyes, lips and, with version 15, the ability to add makeup. Particleshop alternative skin#ALIEN SKIN EXPOSURE XĪlthough best known for its film emulation and creative effects, Alien Skin Exposure X offers a solid set of image-editing tools, as well. It doesn’t mirror Photoshop in every way, and there’s a slight learning curve, but this affordable application is powerful and has a lot to offer whether you’re a pro or a serious hobbyist. Given its strong similarity to Adobe Photoshop-from features and functions to tools and even keyboard shortcuts-Affinity Photo is a solid alternative for photographers who want to avoid the monthly Creative Cloud membership fee. Voted by Apple as Best Mac App of 2015, this full-featured, Mac-only image-editing program is relatively new, though parent company Serif Labs has been developing imaging and design software for some time. ![]() ![]() There are five hiking trails to explore at Hillsborough River State Park. I heard that so much this weekend, I think it has finally sunk in. Just remember for all you amateur paddlers, paddle left to go right and paddle right to go left. There are rapids in the river that you can paddle close to, but don’t get into them, because of hazards in the water. The pool is currently closed for renovations, but the rental shop is open. Kayaks and canoes can be rented at the park, near the pool. So honestly, we were lucky to get a site at this amazing state park. When we booked the campsite, there were not many sites available and our options were limited. It was a bit of pain to back into, but is definitely doable with a bit of patience and of heavy dose of tenacity.
